Is there such a thing as a butcher that meets the following criteria:
-is not as asshole
-is affordable
-has good quality meat
-is cooperative and willing to make custom blends/orders?
Based on past experiences, I’d say no, please tell me otherwise.

What is the best burger in Boston?
While everyone has an opinion, ours is the one that counts.
We're two guys embarking on a journey many have attempted but never completed. Good or bad, over- or under-cooked, however long it may take, we vow to sample all the burgers in Boston and beyond. We aren't writers or gluttons; we're food guys with a love for burgers and an opinion on how they should taste. We don't appreciate a salad on top of our meat, and we like our food served in a timely fashion.
The perfect burger is out there, and we won't stop until we find it.
Have you eaten the best burger around? Are you a chef willing to put your burger to the Boston Burger Blog test? Tell us all about it! Once we've tried it, we'll tell everyone else about it too!

I had a very good experience @ J.Dewars/Newton. No attitude, a bit pricey-yes, very good meats and they happily made a custom blend of burger on the spot!
I had the opposite experience the two times I visited. Incredibly rude, full of attitude when I wanted a custom blend (plus they screwed up the order) and they are overpriced.
Sulmona in the North End.
Yeah, I’ve heard good things, gotta check it out.
We use O’Driscolls in Northboro, MA. It’s about a 50 minute drive from the Boston area, but they are top notch, family owned and great people.
I’ll drive anywhere for a good butcher.
Have you tried the newly opened Meat House in Coolidge Corner? Few experiences to judge on, but so far so good.
nope, just drove by it for the first time this week, have to check it out.
